Oscar de la Renta, one of the greatest fashion designers of our time, has died at age 82 after a long battle with cancer. He just showed his Spring/Summer 2015 collection at New York Fashion Week.

Amal Alamuddin, the new Mrs George Clooney, wore a beautiful de la Renta wedding dress which featured two layers of tulle along with hand embroidered pearls and diamante accents. According to US Weekly, Alamuddin said de la Renta “is such an elegant designer and such an elegant man.”
